Vivian, a person from Mizoram had an untimely death and his family was in a fix on how to bring his body back home with no airports functional.
Vivian’s family was helped by the Chennai Mizo Welfare Association who had found a private ambulance service that was ready to help. The association after contacting the Tamil Nadu government and the police department got the required documents to help get the travel done.
Apart from this, the association reached out to Vivian’s friends and associates and one of his friends Raphael Malchhanhima volunteered to go with the body to Mizoram. The two drivers and the friend along with the body went on the journey only to stop for food which was arranged by friends or well-wishers.
On reaching Aizawl it was seen that many people were on the streets to appreciate the efforts of the ambulance drivers who helped bring the body of Vivian to his family.
